On Thursday, January 29, 2015, the Brave HEART program sponsored a “Paint Night” for a group of local Veterans, with the help of the Fine Arts Company.
It was a great indoor winter event, that allowed us all to get together despite the snow and freezing January temperatures. We appreciate the immeasurable courage, sacrifice and dedication of our Veterans, and always take any opportunity to thank them.
We would like to thank The Fine Arts Company , a wonderful store in Hagerstown, Maryland. Without their help, this event would not have been possible. They provided the art instruction, as well as all the supplies we needed: canvases, paint, brushes, and an apron for every participant. Our Veterans were able to paint a masterpiece in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
