The BraveHeart Program mission is to provide Service-members, Veterans, and their families a place where they can come together to heal and reconnect in a stress-free farm environment. To support that mission we perform projects, which enhance the farm experience through historic preservation, environmental conversation and stewardship, and community outreach and partnerships.
Our third community partnership, to support a Boy Scout achieving his Eagle Award, is rebuilding a portion of a Civil War era stone wall, found on the property, that will enhance the experience of the Service-members, Veterans, and families we serve to show our appreciation for the service they provided to our nation.
The BraveHeart Program..... Service-members, Veterans, families, community outreach, historic preservation, environmental conservation and stewardship. We bring many resources to bear to heal and strengthen our wonderful Military families.
On Thursday, January 29, 2015, the Brave HEART program sponsored a “Paint Night” for a group of local Veterans, with the help of the Fine Arts Company.
On Saturday September 27, 2014, friends and supporters of the BraveHEART program participated in the Hagerstown Kickball Classic to benefit Truckin4Troops , in honor of local Wounded Warrior Kevin Jaye, by sponsoring and fielding two teams for the tournament. It was a great turnout, and through the efforts of many in the local community, over $2,000 was raised to support Truckin4Troops mission of providing rehabilitation opportunities for our Wounded Warriors and their families.
